PathPoint is the sole provider of housing support services for 130 adults with severe mental illnesses in Santa Barbara. County budget cuts eliminated 2/3 of the PathPoint budget and canceled the structured, monitored programs for residents. The abrupt transition to less frequent service was eased in the first year by this grant to provide a dedicated rehabilitation specialist focused on preventing homelessness, hospitalizations, or incarcerations.
