Delene's family has been part of the Santa Barbara community since the early 1950s. After living in the Bay Area, she returned home 20 years ago and has loved raising her three children in the same amazing town where she grew up.
Her career has been dedicated to the nonprofit sector, with a focus on fundraising both in Santa Barbara and the Bay Area.
Delene currently serves as the Senior Director of Development for UC Santa Barbara’s Student Affairs Division, where she leads advancement efforts for 26 departments committed to enhancing the student experience. She has also had the privilege of working with Laguna Blanca School, Storyteller Children’s Center, and the Family Services Agency.
With more than 40 years of experience in the nonprofit world, Delene is passionate about building collaborative relationships that inspire volunteer and donor engagement. The Women's Fund is an ideal place to see her passions at work.
