Originally from the mountains of Tennessee, Janice spent over 30 years in the East Bay Area (Livermore/Tracy) working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the Lasers and the Remote Sensing Programs. She returned to the Santa Barbara Area where she had attended UCSB. She taught Chemistry at SBCC for the past few years and enjoys spending time with her two daughters, two dogs, two chickens and fish.
